I was hoping that coming independence day i would generate a dedicated interactable sorta web environment for bharatchan center of which would be the ashvattha tree, also known as e bodhi tree,[4] bo tree, peepul tree,[2] peepal tree, pipala tree source: wiki.

Sacred to dharmic faiths and even beyond that, the relationship people have. Old stories of our parents, or that one famous tree in the village, or the another one nearby the pond.

Well i am really.....

Was drawing it few, i think almost years back. Not Reading but sharing it anyway for now.

Never Forgive Never Forget

One of the biggest difficulties i used to have which i wanted to learn from actual good pixel artists was how to pick what to highlight in pixel art compared to real life. It's not about drawing 1:1 rather giving feel of it, with ashvattha tree it seems i am getting there.

A generic idea ig for me was,

draw a color fill of sorts first roughly

increase the details

have some rough outline of sorts over them

then include specific details which are clearly conveying the elements of the asvattha tree

When.....

Read a bit on anti aliasing, barely getting started and a bit on experimenting with Hue and Saturation based on which updated the art.

This one took a bit of a time, was wondering why not create a pixel art version of the brahmi script. So taking inspiration from the ashoka rock and pillar edits i decided to work on this art.

There's still lots of work to do,

will color and shade

inscription color shades.

giving the edges of the rocks better width - color

improvement in the background color as a whole from

outline color improvement

animate it a bit

add the second pillar/rock edit with information on vowels scripts......

Long back, i think this year during Holi an anon on bharatchan wrote following line,

Palash ke pedh khil uthe hai, holi ab zyada din door nahi

It was random converesation which stuck with me. There's a thread on /va/nya board on bharatchan where we meet again. link to the thread

better color and wings for the bee

Was browsing bharatchan when i encountered thunder anon posting pics of his pet lizard, interesting stuff. So decided to draw pixel art of it.

It's not finished, i need to work on the outline, a bit on shades etc. But enough to share as WIP.

Saw a post on the twitter video of a cute calf. Some one called it 'chandrakant' so i guess that's the name i am going with.
